If a warning light is observed, check tire(s) and inflate to specified pressures. Whenever tires or wheels are changed, or tire pressure has been adjusted the system must be reactivated/reset.
Verify pressures of all four tires.
Turn electronic key in starter switch to position 2 (the engine must not be running).
Press "forward" or "back" button on the multifunction steering wheel until the display for trip and main odometer appears.
Press "up" or "down" arrow button repeatedly until the tire inflation pressure monitor appears.
Press and hold "reset" button on the instrument cluster until the message "MONITOR CURRENT TIRE PRESSURE?" appears. Release the "R" button.
Press and hold button "R" on the instrument cluster again until the message "TIRE PRESS. CONTROL ACTIVATED!" Appears.
The tire inflation pressure monitor is now activated and monitors the presently selected tire pressures for all four wheels on the ground.
Repeat above steps if the multifunction display shows the message "TIRE PRESS. CONTROL - REACTIVATE!"
A malfunction display showing the message "TIRE PRESSURE - CHECK TIRES!" indicates a much too low tire inflation pressure. Check and correct tire inflation pressure again on all wheels, and repeat the tire inflation pressure monitor activation steps listed above.

Press button "-" ("NO") on the multifunction steering wheel to cancel the activation.
Repeat above steps if the multifunction display shows the message "REACTIVATE - TIRE PRESS. MONITOR!"

Repeat above steps if the multifunction display shows the message "REACTIVATE - TIRE PRESS. MONITOR!"

If a warning light is observed, check the tire(s) pressure and inflate to specifications. After correcting tire pressures you may have to activate the system.
You must activate the tire inflation pressure monitor in the following cases:
If you have changed the tire pressure
If you have replaced the wheels or tires
If you have installed new wheels or tires
Be sure that the tire pressure is correctly set.
Press the "down arrow" button until the inflation pressure of each tire appears in the right display field.
Press the reset knob.
The following message will appear in the speedometer display field "Monitor current tire pressure?"
Press the "+" button.
The following message will appear in the speedometer display field "Tire pressure monitor activated!" Pressure display after driving several mins.
If you wish to cancel the activation:
Press the "-" button.
If the following message appears in the speedometer display field "Reactivate tire press. monit."
Re-start the activation of the tire inflation pressure monitor.
If the following message appears in the speedometer display field "Tire pressure Check tires!"
Re-start the activation of the tire inflation pressure monitor.
