NOTE: The tire pressure monitoring system is not affected by wheel and tire rotation.
NOTE: The tire pressure sensor training procedure must be done on a single vehicle, in an area without radio frequency (RF) noise.
RF noise is generated by electrical motor and appliance operation, cellular telephones, and remote transmitters.
Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
Turn the ignition switch from the OFF position to the RUN position three times, ending in the RUN position. Do not wait more than two minutes between each key cycle.
Press and release the brake pedal.

Turn the ignition switch from the OFF position to the RUN position three times, ending in the RUN position. Do not wait more than two minutes between each key cycle.
When the message center displays "TRAIN LEFT FRONT TIRE", place the magnet on the valve stem of the LF tire pressure sensor. The horn will sound briefly to indicate that the tire pressure sensor has been recognized by the TPMS module.
Within two minutes after the horn sounds, place the magnet on the valve stem of the RF tire pressure sensor.
NOTE: If the TPMS module does not recognize any one of the five tire pressure sensors during the tire training procedure, the horn will sound twice and the message center will display "TIRE TRAINING MODE INCOMPLETE" and the procedure must be repeated.
Repeat Step 7 for the RR, LR, and spare tires.
When the tire training procedure is complete, the horn will sound once and the message center will display "TIRE TRAINING MODE COMPLETE".
To reset the system, turn the ignition to the ON position, press and hold the "TIRE RESET" switch for three seconds. The low tire warning indicator light will flash three times as the low tire warning system begins to initialize. The initial adjustment is completed after driving over 40 mph (65 km/h) for 15 - 20 minutes.
This system may not function properly under the following conditions:
Uneven tread wear.
Driving on lose or low traction surfaces such as gravel, snow or slush.
Using tire chains.
Initial tire pressures out of specified range.
Two or more under inflated tires.
Sudden loss of tire pressure.
Vehicle speeds of less than 20 mph (30 km/h), greater than 70 mph (120 km/h) or driving duration of less than 10 miles.
Transporting a heavy load or towing a trailer.
The low tire warning feature can be turned off by your dealer.
The Low Tire Warning (LTW) system must be reset when the tire replacement, maintenance, system repair ie performed or anytime tire pressure is adjusted. To reset the system, press and hold the "Tire Reset" switch for a minimum of three seconds. The LTW warning lamp will flash 3 times indicating a reset has been initiated.
If the lamp illuminates always reset the tire pressure to specification before resetting the system.
To reset the system, press and hold the odometer reset button and wait for the "TIRE PRESSURE SET" light to illuminate. Continue to press the button for 3 seconds, then release. After 3 seconds, the low tire pressure warning lamp will flash 3 times, indicating that the low tire warning system reset procedure is complete.
To reset the system, press and hold the SETUP button and wait for the message center to display "REST FOR SYSTEM CHECK". Then press the RESET button and wait for the message center to display "HOLD RESET TO RELEARN". Press and hold the RESET button for 3 seconds. The message "HOLD RESET TO RELEARN" and the low tire warning lamp will flash 3 times, indicating the reset procedure is complete.
